So Are You Talking ‘On’ or ‘To’ The Phone

So are you talking on the phone or to the phone???!!!
MOBILE PHONES…quite a topic huh?!
Before i write any further i would like to state that the purpose of this post is not to advertise any particular brand or to showoff. But its quite obvious which phone i am talking about so….
What was the first mobile phone that you got/used?For me it was a black and white handset which basically performed the function of call and message and performed it pretty well.
A few months back,i got myself a new handset and its not until recently that i found out it had a function called S-Voice.I knew what it was,but i didnt knew what it could do.As they say ‘the mind only knows what the eyes see’(do they?).
I’ll sum up what it did.I said ‘hi’ to which the phone woke up,then i said ‘play music’ and it did.I didn’t like the song so i said next, and next it did.The volume was quite low so i said ‘VOLUME UP’ and continued saying so till the apt amount of volume was achieved and i begun to feel the groove of the song. Then i got impressed so i said pause and it stopped playing the music and then i decided to write this blog.
Well as i said i am not writing this to advertise or to show-off,and i must say that there are similar functions on some other pretty good handphones, and there are some other pretty good functions on this phone as well, but I just wanted to ask you all this.
Innovation, technology, breakthrough, benchmark, setting the standards for others to follow…doesn’t these ideas amaze you???Doesnt these ideas intrigue you???
When mobile phones were first made ‘the maker’ sure pictured people talking on the phone. And now ‘the makers’ are picturing people talking ‘TO’ the phone.Give it a decade and we can ‘only to some extent’ imagine what might be achieved.Really Sky Really is the limit!!!
I heard another company has developed the idea called ‘wireless charging’,I mean WOW!!!
‘I believe there is a comment option further down the page,so might give it a try!!!Its Free!!!’
Also there is a LIKE and a FOLLOW and also a SHARE option somewhere on the page.I wonder what it does???

  1. Hmmm…interesting…i think i also belong to your age group….we got land line in our home when i was 12 years old….then came pager….obviously i was intrigued by pager (although i was too small to own it)…then came mobile (those big and bulky ones)….it was very expensive to maintain a mobile then….my father had Nokia 1100 and i used to play snake on it (good old times)…after a while mobile became cheap and most of the guys had mobile…then came infra red (i’m sure you remrmber it, it was pain in the ass haha)….then came mobile with video cameras….i used to be in awe seeing camera on mobile phone as we had a Nikon camera (large and bulky one)…then came Blue tooth (a relief from infra red)..then came GPRS ( i was like what the f****) …and then touch screen….i had never imagined a mobile that would work by touching the screen….and as you mentioned you talked to your mobile…that says it all….like i said i used to spend hours playing snake in 1100 but now a days i play temple run, angry birds…..and i can’t imagine what a mobile phone would look like ( if they don’t make invisible mobile by then) after 5 years…cause it took just about ten years for nokia 1100 to evolve into iPhone 5 or samsung S3….like you said ‘sky is the limit’……but i think we still gotta see lots of awesome mobiles during our lifetime…. Cheers to technology brother….
